Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Drawstep Daily (drawstepdaily.com) is a free Magic: The Gathering news site. We collect as little as possible. There are no user accounts, no newsletters and no advertising or tracking cookies.
What we store
- Comments. When you post a comment we store the name and text you enter and the time. These are shown publicly with the post.
- Likes and card votes. To prevent double votes we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address. We cannot turn this hash back into your IP address and do not use it for anything else.
- Your preferences. Your choice of currency, region and shop is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and does not track you across other websites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Third-party content and links
- Card images are loaded from Scryfall.
- YouTube videos are only loaded when you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). After you click, Google's privacy policy applies.
- Shop links (Cardmarket, TCGplayer, Card Kingdom) go to those websites. Some may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Our YouTube channel and Google APIs
We use the YouTube Data API only to upload videos we make ourselves to our own channel and to check whether those videos are public. We do not access, collect or store data about any other YouTube user. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy. By watching our videos on YouTube you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Your rights
You can ask us to remove a comment you posted, or ask any question about this policy, through the contact options on our Ko-fi page or Bluesky.
