Daily Price Movers: D-7 Battle Cruiser jumps +87% (Oct 31)
Halloween morning brought some real treats to the Magic market, and the two sides of the Atlantic served up very different menus. Over in Europe, Cardmarket saw Aladdin's Lamp jump 33% to €36.78, while Golgothian Sylex and Cybermen Squadron both climbed 23%, landing at €26.76 and €22.45 respectively. It's a nice mix of old Antiquities-era oddities and a Doctor Who newcomer, and it's worth a look at what's driving the interest in each.
Across the pond, TCGplayer's leaderboard was a little wilder. D-7 Battle Cruiser rocketed 87% to $2.02, Llanowar Elves surged 74% to a eye-catching $230.00, and Simulacrum gained 40% to reach $46.79. Percentages on cheap cards can swing hard, and a Llanowar Elves at that price is surely one particular printing, so check which version you're looking at before you get excited. One card made both lists: Dark Matter Manipulator is rising in Europe and the US alike, which makes it the one to watch for anyone tracking cross-market momentum. As always, dig into the why before you buy or sell, because a spike on a screen is only the start of the story.
🔥 Rising on both markets
These cards went up in Europe and in the US — usually a sign of real demand rather than a few sold-out listings.
