📖 How to build Veyran, Voice of Duality
Veyran is a three-mana Izzet creature built for spellslinger decks. Every time you cast or copy an instant or sorcery, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn, so a turn with several spells can make it a real threat. Its second ability makes triggered abilities of your permanents trigger an additional time when casting or copying an instant or sorcery caused them.
Build around a high density of cheap instants and sorceries so Veyran grows and your triggers fire often. Brainstorm, Counterspell, Negate, Arcane Denial and Swan Song all fit that role. Add permanents with triggered abilities that go off when you cast or copy spells, since those are what Veyran doubles. Copy effects are also worth including, because copying a spell triggers Veyran too.
Veyran is a fragile creature, and its bonus lasts only until end of turn. The doubling does nothing without suitable triggered abilities on your permanents. Reactive spells only pump it if you actually have mana and targets, so plan your turns carefully.
