Winota, Joiner of Forces

How it plays & wins

This is a white-red Winota aggro deck. It starts fast with Mana Vault, Sol Ring, Chrome Mox and Lotus Petal, then lands cheap creatures. Many of its hatebears slow the table down, including Thalia, Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric, Grand Abolisher and Magus of the Moon. Protection comes from Mother of Runes, Giver of Runes, Silence, Orim's Chant and Deflecting Swat, with Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile and Solitude as cheap removal.

No infinite combo is detected, so the win is through combat. Non-Humans like Signal Pest, Ornithopter, Phyrexian Walker and Legion Warboss trigger Winota, which brings Humans like Boromir, Warden of the Tower or Ranger-Captain of Eos into the attack. Blade Historian and Angrath's Marauders can then make that attack lethal.
