Sisay, Weatherlight Captain

How it plays & wins

Sisay is a creature-based midrange deck that leans on fast mana and a lot of interaction. Mana dorks like Birds of Paradise, Noble Hierarch and Ignoble Hierarch, plus rocks like Sol Ring, Mana Vault and Chrome Mox, power out an early Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora or Smothering Tithe. Tutors such as Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Enlightened Tutor and Green Sun's Zenith find the right piece. Free spells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, Pact of Negation, Swan Song and Flusterstorm protect the plan. Sisay can fetch legendary permanents like Gaea's Cradle or Selvala when the mana is there.

No infinite combo shows up in this list, and I can't point to one dedicated kill. The most likely win is a mana-rich board of legendary creatures, such as Selvala, Kinnan or Derevi, that attacks while the deck holds up counterspells. Ragavan and Orcish Bowmasters add early pressure.
